New light-weight wagons for safety
padding
11-07-2025.
During the 13 year the Shorttrack Summercamp has been
held in Oberstdorf we used during the training sessions
and competition the saftey padding of the Eissport Club
Oberstdorf. Due to the fact the Summercamp became bigger
every year we expanded the number of safety padding to a
number of mats for both Ice rinks at the same time. As
the transport of the safety padding on and of the ice is
very heavy we also started last year with making some
wagons for transporting the mats. This year also we
added a number of specially made light weight aluminium
wagons for this purpose. |

New 40 cm thick padding for
Oberstdorf
09-06-2025.
10 New mats of 40cm thick are added this month to the
safety padding for the Oberstdorf Shorttrack Summercamp.
With these new mats the Organizing Committee of the
Summercamp will continue its proces to upgrade the
padding of the Ice rink of Oberstdorf. With these
new mats we bring the total sett of padding for the 2
ice rinks to a better standard for both training and
competitions. At the same time a number of the old
20 cm thick mats, which has been used in the past in
hall-3, are replaced now by the new blue ones of 40 cm thick. |

ISU seminar for Starters held
during Summercamp Oberstdorf
08-06-2025.
During the 14th edition of the Oberstdorf Shorttrack
Summercamp a seminar for Starters will be held. This
seminar supported by the ISU is addressed to all those
who are interested in the profession of starter and want
to develop and expand their skills in starting. Both for
beginning and expirienced starters. During the seminar
theoretical lessons and video-training as well as real
competition starting will take place. The entry
for this seminar must be done by the national member
federations of the ISU. If you are interested you have
to contact the federation in your country. |

Entry for 14th edition Oberstdorf
Shorttrack Summercamp is open now
01-03-2025.
From 2 - 9 August 2025 the 14th edition of the Oberstdorf
Shorttrack Summercamp will be held. We expect that over
200 skaters will come to Oberstdorf to attend this event. Although it is
still very
early the entry for the Summercamp has already been
opened on
the website
www.Shorttrackonline.info. We would like to ask
everybody who has the intention to come to enter as
quick as possible in order to help to Organising
Committee to make long-term planning for all activities.
Untill the begining of july you always can make changes
in the entry. All entered skaters will receive a password to login on the
special questionnaire-form for making all kinds of
reservations. We do hope to see you all back again in
Oberstdorf for the 14th edition of the Oberstdorf
Shorttrack Summercamp. |
